Mr. Naresh K. Shah Partner of NK Shah Consulting Engineers LLP is established the firm 1978 to provide engineering services in the field of Structural engineering. Our office is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Our firm has carried out various kinds of projects all over India, Nepal & Africa. The firm has been involved in design of multistory buildings, industrial facilities such as sugar factories, distilleries, cold storages, dairies, oil mills, pharmaceutical labs etc., company townships and various special structures. The firm has rich library of books and Code of practices of India and strictly adheres to it to provide robust and efficient Structural Design. The firm emphasis on structural framing systems, which are efficient, robust, cost effective and prides itself in producing quality contract documents. The firm has been associated with renowned Architects of India for providing Structural Consultancy for their projects. The firm has reputation of providing quality work in stipulated time periods. Our firm is presently having State of the art I. T. infrastructure to carry out complex drafting, designing and analysis for our projects.
Most of the design calculations are computerized and are done with licensed STAAD. Pro, ETABS, SAFE and design sheets developed in house. The design calculations produced by us have been approved by proof checking agencies such as CEPT, Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE), ISRO Ahmedabad, R&B Department Govt. of Gujarat, IIT etc. Our company provides services of construction management, site supervision and material management

Mr. Naresh K. Shah

Mr. Naresh K. Shah brings over six decades of unparalleled experience in the field of structural engineering. A distinguished alumnus of Gujarat University, he graduated First Class First in 1963. He further pursued advanced studies in Structural Engineering through the Gujarat Institute of Engineers—a program considered equivalent to a modern-day Master’s degree in Engineering (M.E.).
Over the years, Mr. Shah has collaborated with some of the most iconic figures in architecture and structural design, including renowned architect Mr. B.V. Doshi, eminent structural engineer Mr. Mahendra Raj, and has also spent a significant decade-long tenure with Sijcon Consultants. His portfolio encompasses the design and execution of numerous landmark projects across India.
A respected voice in the industry, Mr. Shah is an active member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and is affiliated with several other professional engineering organizations. His commitment to structural integrity, innovation, and mentorship continues to inspire generations of engineers and architects alike. He was awarded with Gujarat Nirman Sanman Award for Lifetime Legacy Award in 2025 for his contribution to the industry for Excellence, Innovation & Impact in the construction industry.
Mr. Anal N. Shah

Mr. Anal N. Shah is a highly accomplished structural engineer and partner at NK Shah Consulting Engineers LLP. A graduate of Gujarat University (1994), he was a consistent university rank holder and recipient of five Gold Medals from Gujarat University and an additional Gold Medal from the Indian Institution of Civil Engineers.
He pursued his Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the prestigious University of Texas at Austin, USA. Early in his career, he worked with Metro Structural Consultants, Fort Worth, Texas (1996–1997), gaining international exposure and technical excellence.
In addition to professional practice, Mr. Shah has been closely associated with academia. He has served as an external examiner and visiting lecturer for several postgraduate programs at leading engineering institutes.
His notable projects include structural design of Flame University Pune, IIM-Ahmedaabad, IIT-Gandhinagar, IIT-Hydrabad, Kashi Viswanath Corridor and also Central Vista Project including Structural design of New Parliament Building, Kartavya Bhavan, Vice President Enclave, Prime Ministers’s Residential Enclave, Prime Minister’s Office Enclave as well.
Mr. Shah's outstanding contributions to the field have earned him numerous National level awards including Outstanding Structural Engineer from Indian Institute of Structural Engineers for his professional contribution and innovative structural design.
